Position Summary | The successful applicant will conduct research in relation to identifying regional social-ecological hydroclimatic and water security risks, assessing possible impacts on regional sectors (including ecosystems, primary economic activities, livelihoods, infrastructure), assessing institutional adaptations and governance, working with partners and stakeholders in relation to Saskatchewan and South America. Duties include conducting database searches, web of science searches, building website content and linking research and data, conducting and analyzing interviews, analyzing quantitative/qualitative data, writing research reports and case studies, assisting with meetings/ roundtable organization and facilitation, and preparing manuscripts for publication, among other assigned research tasks. |
Position Requirements | Masters or PhD students. Familiarity with social science, climate change, risk, water governance, environmental issues, qualitative and/or quantitative research and literature reviews is essential, as are strong writing skills.Training and experience with NVivo software is required |
