Join our National Water & Wastewater Team
We belong to the the Infrastructure unit in COWI Sweden, where you’ll find the national team within Urban Water and Utilities with Water and Wastewater Design Engineers, Utility Coordinators, Project Managers, and Analysts among us. Our team’s competence and breadth within the company allow us to offer our clients both specialized services and total commitments, which provides our employees with stimulating and developmental tasks. Our group collaborates effectively with colleagues across Sweden, Scandinavia, and internationally.
Your role as a Senior Water and Wastewater Engineer:
In this role, you will be part of a competent and experienced team working broadly on design projects and studies for both public (authorities and municipal) and private clients.
Your responsibilities will include leading teams in designing water and wastewater systems, serving as either a Technical Lead or a Project Manager. There is also an opportunity to combine the role with work as a Utility Coordinator or Analyst specializing in pipe networks or stormwater management.

We believe that to succeed in this role, you are engaged and meticulous. You are good at working independently as well as in a project group. Since we value knowledge exchange among employees and functions, we want you to enjoy sharing your experiences. For this position, you will have:
- A Degree of Master of Science within Engineering, preferably within Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering.
- Experience leading teams as a Technical Lead (project larger than 5 MSEK) or Project Manager (project larger than 1 MSEK).
- Have more than 6 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater design.
- Proven problem-solving skills and fluency in the Swedish and English language, both written and verbal.
