The Water Diplomacy Center at Jordan University of Science and Technology is searching for one full-time Research Assistant for the project titled “Blue Peace Middle East 2.0 – Capacity Development (JUST-WDC)” in Irbid, Jordan, under the following conditions:

Job Description:
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings.
- Collect and analyze data using appropriate methods.
- Assist in designing and setting up experiments or studies.
- Manage and organize research data, ensuring documentation and security.
- Contribute to research reports and presentations, including synthesis and writing.
- Completing any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or agriculture from a recognized university with a minimum grade of very good.
- Master’s degree in civil engineering, natural resources and environment, water resources, sustainable water resources, geology, geography, or any related discipline from a recognized university with a minimum grade of very good. The thesis subject must be WEFE-Nexus, Climate Change, or Transboundary Water related.
- Applicant’s nationality: Jordanian.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Arabic.
- Previous experience in research work.
- Ability to work within a team and handle work pressure.
