Offer Description
Cross-sectoral partnerships are increasingly recognized as a critical instrument through which business strategies and public policies may promote a more sustainable and responsible development path. Collaboration between firms and nonprofits are especially suitable for developing and introducing product, process and institutional innovations that may enhance the sustainability of resource-based sectors, such as food or water systems. Examples of research gaps that should be conceptually and empirically tackled are the long-run perspectives of these partnerships, their interactions with different institutional contexts, the types of innovation supported. An accurate choice of methods, in terms of samples, variables and estimators (or other techniques), is necessary to obtain robust and generalizable results on the open questions and to elaborate theoretical models and recommendations. The research addresses the topic 6.1 of the PNR.
