Faculty/Instructor Profile | Continuing Education and Corporate Training is seeking a dedicated Land and Water Non-Credit Instructor to join their team. The successful candidate will deliver specialized training on wildlife and land considerations for renewable energy projects, particularly solar installations. With expertise in environmental stewardship, conservation, and sustainable land management practices, this instructor will play a pivotal role in preparing learners for careers in environmentally responsible industries. |
Position Responsibilities | Instructor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:•Delivering in-person learning content, providing timely feedback and support to learners. •Delivering engaging in-person training on topics such as wildlife safety, conservation, and land management in the context of solar farming projects. •Facilitating discussions on environmental issues, vegetation control, and sustainable land practices. •Promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills relevant to land and wildlife considerations. •Addressing learner challenges, providing timely support, and fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment. •Collaborating with the Continuing Education and Corporate Training team to ensure a cohesive and high-quality educational experience for learners. |
Required Qualifications | Diploma or degree related to land and water management |
Preferred Qualifications | 2-years industry experience. Experience in knowledge translation and tech transfer. |
