We are looking for an early career (postdoc) economist with knowledge of mathematical programming modelling to work on the ERC CoG WaterTheft, funded by the European Union’s HORIZONTE EUROPE research and innovation programme under grant agreement no. 101124884. The researcher will work on the preparation of the microeconomic database, in close collaboration with data scientists generating land use and water use data using remote sensing techniques; on the setup of boundedly rational mathematical programming models leveraging behavioral economics data, which she/he will contribute to generate through behavioral economics experiments; and on the setup of the multi-model ensemble in collaboration with other socioeconomic and hydrologic modellers. Working language will be English.
