Position Summary
As an ESG Water Intern, you will be responsible for building a business case for Nestlé on the benefits and limitations of investing in corporate water stewardship. This will be achieved by using both technical and business primary data from Nestlé, as well as referring to external and public literature. The scope will be global and corporate but could also include selected geographies to deep dive into local case studies.
You will integrate the Nestlé ESG-Water team while also collaborating with various functions within the company (Finance, Legal, Communication, Strategy, etc.).

A Day in the Life of an ESG Water Intern
- Collect, consolidate, and process technical and business data related to water sustainability practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate the benefits and limitations of integrating water sustainability practices into broader business strategies
- Review, benchmark, and consolidate best practices from external and public sources, such as literature, competitors, NGOs, and governmental entities
- Integrate analytical results and reports, and share them with key internal stakeholders
- Provide insights and recommendations based on the analytical findings
What will make you successful
- Students of Master program “Science in Sustainable Management and Technology” or similar
- Possess strong analytical skills to work with different types of datasets
- Understanding of environmental sciences and business
- Demonstrated personal interest in corporate sustainability, particularly in areas such as water, climate, biodiversity, and agriculture
- Proficiency in professional English, both written and verbal
