The Water Group is currently seeking to appoint a motivated and proactive professional to manage the Water Administration Ministerial Corporation (WAMC). As the Manager, WAMC, you will have the opportunity to play a part in ensuring sustainable, secure and healthy water resources and services for NSW.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level and make their mark by overseeing a Ministerial Corporation, including the Implementation of effective corporate planning and governance frameworks, implementation of asset management practices and the allocation and monitoring of resources to meet legislative and strategic objectives.
About You
You are a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You take ownership and are comfortable in acting as a subject matter expert on projects and initiative under your responsibility. You communicate effectively with senior management and are comfortable in contributing at management meetings.
You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in enabling and supporting the delivery of programs and services by DPIE Water. You will also oversee a comprehensive asset management framework for WAMC assets.

The Water Administration Ministerial Corporation (WAMC) is a statutory body representing the Crown established under the Water Management Act 2000 (WMA), administered by the Water Group in the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. Various divisions within the department, the Natural Resource Access Regulator and WaterNSW carry out WAMC functions.
WAMC has broad powers which, when applied in accordance with a strategic direction, enables the Minister for Water to deliver sustainable, secure and healthy water resources and services for NSW. The WAMC Corporate Strategy (the Strategy) documents how the Water Group uses and interacts with WAMC to deliver its strategic direction.
