Position Title: Consultant for Initiative 6 of the WASH Road Map
Contract Duration: January 2025 – June 2025 (up to 60 working days)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced consultant to drive Initiative 6 of the WASH Road Map. This initiative focuses on enhancing multi-sectoral approaches to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) through integrated guidelines, technical tools, capacity building, and strategic advocacy efforts.
The consultant will play a pivotal role in shaping global and regional WASH strategies, fostering innovative operational models, and promoting intersectoral funding mechanisms. Working alongside a collaborative consortium, this role will contribute to advancing resilience and sustainable development in humanitarian contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop joint integrated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical guidelines.
- Create tools like checklists, quality frameworks, and coordination mechanisms to support Initiative 6.
- Lead efforts on capacity-building initiatives, advocacy campaigns, and partnership strategies.
- Analyze and reflect on impacts, evaluations, and academic contributions to strengthen WASH outcomes.
- Report progress and insights to the WASH Road Map Secretariat and core leadership teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in public health or related fields.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in research, project management, and humanitarian WASH programming.
- Proven expertise in multi-sectoral coordination and operational models.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (additional languages such as French or Spanish are an advantage).
