Offer Description
Coastal regions are under increasing pressure from climate change. Currently, the increased frequency of drought events together with the saline contamination are among the most worrying. The water supply is increasingly challenged especially in areas oriented towards tourism and agriculture. The research aims to increase knowledge of the impact of climate change on Italian coastal aquifer systems in the northern Adriatic Sea to assess appropriate management through sustainable actions for the coastal environment.
