Missions
– define the joint impact of aquifer pumping upstream of a Natura2000 classified area and climate change
– define a strategy for integrating distributed data (tracers) into hydrological models
– Improve the predictive capabilities of hydrological models: define new metrics and numerical evaluation experiments
Activities

– Deploy a hydrogeological model, coupled with a hydrological model integrating a pumping module in the water table and defining the impact on the functioning of surface ecosystems
– Do fieldwork on the Ploemeur-Guidel hydrogeological observatory
Skills
– PhD in environmental sciences or geosciences.
– Skills required in modeling (modflow / python)
Work Context
The post-doc is part of the European BLUE TRANSITION project, which brings together 24 partners from 6 countries of the “North Sea”, bringing together researchers, managers, territorial actors around 16 pilot sites in a common context of increasing pressures on coastal areas. It is also anchored in the SNO H+ observatory of Ploemeur-Guidel
Constraints and risks
The person must have spent at least 18 months abroad between May 1, 2020 and the start of the project.
