Water Project Officer

As a Water Project Officer you will:
- Help lead water projects in partnership with land managers, stakeholders, and the community.
- Provide technical advice and support to councils, landholders, community, and industry groups on water planning and management.
- Assist in reviewing and amending Water Allocation Plans and Board policies.
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
About you
- You are knowledgeable and experienced with natural resource management planning principles.
- You have skills in developing policy and contributing to strategic planning processes.
- You have a proven track record managing and delivering projects.
- You are solution driven, with a history of collaborating with diverse individuals, organisations and groups on complex problems.
- You have the capability to understand, interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulations.
- You enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment.
- You have experience or a tertiary qualification in natural resource management, environmental science, agricultural science or equivalent (desirable).

- One full-time (37.5 hrs/per week), ASO5 Water Project Officer
- 2 year term position available immediately.
- Located in Mount Barker, South Australia
Requirements:
- National Police Check
- Current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness to drive is essential.
- Australian residency or a current work permit.
Remuneration:
Administrative Services Officer Level 5 (ASO5): $84,522 – $94,003 per annum.
