Description of the tasks performed at the position:
- Conducting and implementing research and service works in the field of environmental engineering, in particular in the field of water and sanitary engineering, including hydraulic modeling of streams and water and sewage networks and hydrological phenomena, as well as management of mine water discharges,
- Conducting research and research and development work, and participating in the work of national and international research teams,
- Publishing research results,
- Establishing and maintaining cooperation with national and foreign research institutions and water sector companies in the field of creating new solutions in water and sewage management.

Education Level: PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- PhD in the field of engineering and technology,
- Experience in the preparation and implementation of national and/or international research and research and development projects,
- Experience in the preparation and implementation of research and development or expert work in the field of environmental engineering,
- Experience in conducting hydro-morphological studies and hydraulic modelling of rivers confirmed by the implementation of works in this field,
- Proficient knowledge of GIS systems, especially ArcGIS and QGis software.
- Experience in modeling sewage systems using computer models (e.g. SWMM),
- Experience in the practical application of water law, including expert studies in the above-mentioned scope.
- Good knowledge of English – documented by a certificate at least at B2 level
