Who are we?

WRAP is a global environmental action NGO, and our core purpose is to help tackle climate change. We want to protect our planet by transforming our product and food systems to create circular living. We don’t believe that our natural resources should be wasted, everything we use should be re-used and recycled.

If you join us at WRAP – and we think you should – you’ll drive important change and help transform our throwaway economy into one where we eliminate waste, circulate resources, and adopt nature-positive, low carbon, and resource-efficient systems.

We want to power circular living in every boardroom and every home, and you can help us achieve this.

The role

WRAP is expanding the impact of our Water Roadmap to promote sustainable water management across the UK food and drink supply chains. As an Associate Specialist in Water, you will have the unique opportunity to upskill and develop your expertise in this transformative journey, shaping a more sustainable food system. You’ll work alongside senior specialists, gaining the knowledge and experience needed to help deliver meaningful change in the sector.

In this dynamic role, you’ll enhance your capabilities to provide strategic direction and leadership, driving action and impact through our Water Roadmap.

Your work will support business water strategies and collective action projects in critical ‘at-risk’ catchments, while you stay at the forefront of water management and technology. You will support the development and delivery of our existing collective action projects in the UK and internationally, help identify opportunities for new projects, and engage with a range of stakeholders to contribute to meaningful impact. This includes assisting with influencing and negotiation efforts to secure commitment, action, and support for the Water Roadmap. You will also contribute to progress reports, impact monitoring, funder updates, and represent WRAP at conferences, seminars, and events

You’ll continuously learn and apply new insights, building strong professional relationships with industry, government, and other stakeholders.
