Job Description

This position plans, administers, and directs the activities and programs of the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s (EGLE) Water Resources Division (WRD), including over 375 employees responsible for the following environmental programs:  Aquatic Invasive Species, Aquatic Nuisance Control, Biosolids, Critical Dunes, Dam Safety, Floodplains, Great Lakes Submerged Lands, Groundwater Discharge, Hydrologic Studies, Industrial Pretreatment, Inland Lakes and Streams, National Flood Insurance, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System, Nonpoint Source, Operator Training and Certification, Shorelands Protection and Management, Storm Water, Surface Water Monitoring, Wastewater Construction, and Wetlands.

Required Education and Experience

Education
Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any major.

Experience
Two years of professional, managerial experience.
