The Global Environmental Facility (GEF) intends to finance through the African Development Bank (AfDB), the preparation of a Project titled: Strengthening Zambezi River Basin Management Towards Climate Resilience and Ecosystem Health. The objective of the project is to improve collaborative water, energy, food and environmental (WEFE) nexus planning and management in the Zambezi River Basin through enhanced institutional capacity to support cross-sectoral, planning in a transboundary water basin.
