Core Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced senior manager specialist to drive sustainable operations within our water and nature portfolio.

The main priority is to develop, manage and drive our global water portfolio, to reduce water consumption within our factories worldwide towards water positive. This includes tactical road-mapping, forecasting, and leading yearly projects commitments and target setting. More specifically you will:

  • Drive development and implementation of water solutions in the zero impact portfolio and roadmap in Operations
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, both locally and globally, to support the implementation of more sustainable operations processes and technologies. This will help us reduce our water generation and enable circular water flows
  • Foster global collaboration to ensure commitment and shared ownership of the change agenda among all team members
  • Support and enable global water programmes together with key partners to ensure cadence in implementation
  • Support our specialists on developing and deploying local factory water projects
  • Collaborate with strategic department on mid- to long-term strategic ambitions and translating strategy into actionable roadmaps

Join our Sustainable Operations team in Billund. We are part of the Engineering & Workplace organization. We lead, design and implement sustainable solutions primarily within energy/CO2, water, and waste – in a circular approach, which means eliminating negative impact on our local and global environment!

Sustainable Operations is moreover responsible for handling the global portfolio for energy, water, and waste reductions, tracking of realized reductions towards zero-impact, and the programme office for sustainability in Engineering & Workplace. We identify and implement reduction projects in close collaboration with the production sites and other partners.

Do you have what it takes?

To be successful in this position, we imagine a person with pro-active attitude and that has the ability think and act strategically. You bring strong collaboration skills being and can establish positive relationships with partners and colleagues at all levels. In addition, you have:

  • + 5 years’ experience with sustainability projects in a global context and in-depth understanding of manufacturing context
  • Experience with projects related to water positive, and understanding of emergent sustainable water technologies for manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills, ability to develop professional communication material for senior leadership
  • References showing achieved results in an equivalent position
  • Preferably experience from management consultancy within sustainability
  • Proficiency in English
