The position is a hybrid position available for a combination of in-office attendance and telework. The Division of Drinking Water is recruiting for a Senior Water Resource Control Engineer to work in the County Engagement Unit of the Safe and Affordable Funding for Equity and Resilience (SAFER) Drinking Water Section within the Resiliency and Data Branch. The position will be located at one of the Division of Drinking Water’s field offices:

Duties:

The Senior WRCE position will lead the SAFER County Engagement Unit focusing on DDW and SAFER coordination with counties. The unit is comprised of three Environmental Scientists who work on the Local Primacy Agency (LPA) program, one staff WRCE focused on drought resiliency planning for state small water systems and domestic wells, one Staff Services Manager I (Specialist), and one Associate Governmental Program Analyst.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.

Pay: $11,104.00 – $13,898.00 per month
