Role Description
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented editors to join our editorial team. The editors will be responsible for reviewing and editing articles, op-eds, and policy briefs submitted to the Water Policy Center for publication. The role requires a strong understanding of water policy, governance, and related fields, as well as excellent editorial skills
Qualifications
- Editing and Proofreading skills
- Knowledge of water policy and sustainable development
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in publishing scientific or policy research
- Degree in Environmental Studies, Public Policy, Journalism, or related field
Key Responsibilities:
The editor will be responsible for reviewing and editing manuscripts, including articles, op-eds, and policy briefs, ensuring they are clear, coherent, accurate, and aligned with the Water Policy Center’s focus on water governance and policy. This includes editing for grammar, style, and format, fact-checking content, and providing constructive feedback to authors. The editor will collaborate with the editorial team and authors to maintain high publication standards, manage multiple submissions, and adhere to deadlines, ensuring all content is impactful, well-structured, and accessible to a broad audience, including policymakers and academics.How to Apply
