Offer Description

The academic subject “Management of Streams and Riparian Areas” is part of the scientific field of Water Resources Management. It includes measurements of various parameters in the field, both traditional and with the use of new technologies to assess the condition of streams and riparian areas as well as the watershed. The objective of the parameter analysis is to accurately investigate the immediate condition of the streams, riparian areas and watershed. Based on their situation, targeted nature-based solutions are created, the implementation of which will lead to the sustainable restoration of aquatic, semi-aquatic ecosystems and watersheds. The specific actions follow the directive 2000/60/EC for the protection of water ecosystems and the integrated management at the scale of watersheds and the European Green Agreement which aims at a society resistant to climate change with the implementation of “green” solutions.
