General description of the position
Under the supervision of the Field Manager, you will be responsible to improve operating procedures to ensure the field team’s ability to manage projects autonomously. More specially, you will be in charge to:
– Assess the project scope and progress to determine priorities in order to meet deadlines
– Coach the local team to develop skills and improve autonomy
– Facilitate the donor relationships in the field
– Create standards operating procedures to facilitate project management
Do you fit the requested profile ?
You hold a Diploma equivalent to Master in a field related to WaSH and you have a significant experience in WaSH activities, and at least 2 year in a managerial role.
You demonstrate the ability to train and develop teams. You have knowledge of humanitarian WaSH, project management. Knowledge of ACF procedures would be a great asset.
Recognized as challenges-seeker, you are able flexible and able to work autonomously.
Jordan mission is a dynamic mission rapidly growing ; with large scale WaSH (Water, Hygiene and Sanitation) projects being implemented, Livelihoods and Mental Health sectors are being now developed. Country strategy combines emergency and development projects to address needs of Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanian in a holistic approach. With a team of 10 international employees and more than 100 national colleagues, ACF Jordan office manages a portfolio of projects for more than 6 million €, in response to the Syria crisis.
Ruwayshed is a remote base managing WaSH project for host communities and supporting border operations.
