About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Policy Officer within the Water Security, Policy and Planning Branch. The Principal Policy Officer is responsible for leading and managing the coordinated development of strategic policy projects related to the Murray-Darling Basin (MDB) and the River Murray in South Australia. The Principal Policy Officer supports South Australia’s aspirations for Murray-Darling Basin water reform by providing leadership and high-level advice, analysis and policy input to complex and inter-related water policy issues in partnership with stakeholders at state and national levels.

Contract:
Contract for up to 2 Years.
Special Conditions:
- A current National Police Clearance is essential.
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness to drive is desirable.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
Remuneration:
ASO7 $108,109 min – $116,864 max p.a.
