Offer Description
The geochemical studies will be addressed (in Italy and foreign countries) toward the following topics: (i) the vulnerability of surface waters and groundwaters, (ii) the potential of the geothermal resource for electrical and direct uses with special emphasis to high temperature fluids within the earth crust, (iii) geomaterials of strategic interest (critical raw materials) for the ecologic transition. Methods of the elemental and isotopic chemistry will be used, together with mineralogical and petrographic studies. The complex interactions between inorganic and organic materials will be taken into consideration, as well as the quantitative approaches of the alteration of the environment due to the anthropic processes. Collaborative research with Italian and foreign groups is expected, mainly for chemical analyses in specialised laboratories.
