Project Overview:
Join our groundbreaking project, RESTORATION, a multidisciplinary, human-centric initiative funded by Science Foundation Ireland under the National Challenge Fund. The project’s aim is to restore Dublin’s urban fabric to enhance water retention and create a resilient environment against flooding using nature-based solutions (NBS). This involves integrating advanced AI and machine learning techniques to derive optimal NBS models, providing sustainable and effective flood mitigation strategies.
Position Summary:
As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the RESTORATION project, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative solutions for urban resilience. You will be part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team working at the intersection of environmental science, data analytics, and urban planning. Your work will directly impact the project’s goal of making Dublin a model city for flood resilience through cutting-edge research and application of AI and ML.
Research Assistant Salary Scale: €31,462 – €41,443 per annum .
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
