About the Project

We are pleased to announce an opening a full-time PhD position for six (6) years at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Agriculture. This position includes full-time salary and scholarship, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in environmental area.

Institution: University of Zagreb, Faculty of Agriculture

Location: Zagreb, Croatia, European Union

Conduct original research in: Optimizing water management in agroecosystems using advanced in-situ measurements (e.g. Cosmic Ray Neutron Sensors, TDRs, plant-based sensors), integrated with GIS and remote sensing techniques (e.g. satellite imagery and drone-based hyperspectral sensors) – under the mentorship of gondrasek@agr.hr

In addition, candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with eminent international team members to publish and present findings in q1/q2 journals and at conferences, as well as assist in teaching and mentoring (under)graduate students.

Requirements:

A Master’s degree in natural, technical or related discipline
