About the Role:
The Senior Water Projects Officer is responsible for providing professional input and leadership to develop and deliver Green Adelaide’s water management programs and projects. The Senior Water Projects Officer draws on significant technical expertise and experience to provide guidance, coordination and advice for a variety of water-related matters, while ensuring appropriate internal and external stakeholder engagement is achieved. Such water-related matters might include assessments, investigations, monitoring, evaluation, policy, reporting, planning, quality and quantity management, wetlands, watercourses, integrated urban water management (including water sensitive urban design), and alternative water. The Senior Water Projects Officer oversees the work of other staff.

Contract:
2 Year, Full Time Contract
Essential Qualifications:
Tertiary or Post Graduate qualification in applied science or engineering relevant to water management or broader natural resource management is essential.
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties
- This position will be located at Waymouth St, Adelaide but may be required to work from another office within the region
- Current drivers licence is essential.
- Some out-of-hours work may be required as part of the position
Remuneration:
PO4, $110,696 min – $120,470 max p.a.
