Offer Description
In order to detect landslide prone areas, this research program aims at integrating SAR data with environmental data that can help in defining the landslide hazard of a given area. In this way, proper actions can be addressed so to mitigate the related effects. The data to be integrated with SAR information can be of geological, geometrical and hydrological type. This research is then performed in two steps. In the first step, the most recent SAR data will be considered together with all the other databases that can be of potential interest in defining the landslide hazard. In the second step, the information coming from the integrated data analysis will be merged in a decision model.
