The Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water (DRMDW) drives growth for Queensland by managing sustainable water resources, leading innovation in manufacturing, and developing our regions. From our offices in Brisbane and a network of regional offices and manufacturing hubs, more than 700 DRDMW staff work to create a Queensland where communities, businesses and water resources are sustainable and resilient.
Key Duties and Accountabilities
With knowledge of related sector Acts, policies and procedures support the delivery of regulatory activities including, but not limited to water resource management and compliance.
Using a strong eye for detail – enter, validate, and manage water information systems and databases to support efficient workflows, respond to client enquiries, and contribute to the overall achievement of the department’s performance targets and objectives.
Role requirements
• There are no mandatory requirements for this role however, experience in the use of systems including Water Management System (WMS), Microsoft Office and Queensland Globe would be highly regarded.
• Travel away from the centre may be required.
