About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Officer, The Living Murray situated in either Adelaide or Berri. The Project Officer, The Living Murray, is responsible for the provision of professional ecological advice and services to support ecological monitoring, environmental water planning, real-time management and reporting on environmental watering actions for the SA River Murray. The role supports the delivery of condition and intervention monitoring programs, and evaluation and reporting on water for the environment, particularly in relation to The Living Murray program in SA. The Project Officer will work as part of a team and also individually to assist in the successful delivery of water for the environment projects.

Contract:
Contract up to 30 June 2025.
Essential Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Management or equivalent is essential.
Special Conditions:
- Located in Adelaide or Berri
- A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness to drive is essential.
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- Intrastate travel including overnight absences may be required.
- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties
Remuneration:
PO1 $67,466 min – $82,359 max p.a.
