Offer Description
The research involves the following activities:
1) hydrogeological modeling and estimation of the recharge of carbonate and volcanic aquifers falling within the territory of ATO 3, through the use of field hydrological data and satellite data, as well as the use of empirical models and numerical codes;
2) hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical modeling of the well fields of Angri (SA) and Gragnano (NA), based on multiparametric monitoring data and the application of modern 3D modeling techniques of the “aquifer-aquifer-wells” system, in static conditions (off wells) and dynamics (active wells).
The selected candidate will have to develop and produce:
– 2D hydrogeological cartographic models of aquifers at basin scale;
– 2D models and multi-temporal recharge estimates;
– 3D hydrostratigraphic and hydrogeochemical models, at the scale of the Angri and Gragnano well fields.
