The Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water (DRMDW) drives growth for Queensland by managing sustainable water resources, leading innovation in manufacturing, and developing our regions. From our offices in Brisbane and a network of regional offices and manufacturing hubs, more than 580 DRDMW staff work to create a Queensland where communities, businesses and water resources are sustainable and resilient.
This position is responsible for assessment and advice on water related matters under the Water Act 2000 relating to the State’s water resources and provides support and advice on the sustainable management and use through the implementation of legislation and policy specifically in the North Region Riverine and Quarry Team. This includes the delivery of projects and services that contribute to achieving sustainable management and use of water resources, consistent with Departmental frameworks, policies and priorities, in partnership with stakeholders.
