Associate Engineer (Water Resources Planning)
As an Associate Engineer on the Resource Planning Team your primary responsibilities will revolve around engineering functions in the areas of water resource management and operations planning. In this role, you may lead tasks implementing water resource programs and projects, execute (mathematical, statistical, hydraulic, and water resource) models, and review proposed regulations and legislation.
Additionally, you will assist with: conducting feasibility studies for treatment and distribution and conveyance facilities, developing and administering water resource contracts, developing policies and procedures, and interfacing with Member Agencies to identify priorities and communicating analytical results.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field AND four (4) years of relevant experience, of which two (2) years must have been at the Assistant Engineer II level;
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field AND two (2) years of relevant experience which must have been at the Assistant Engineer II level.
Relevant Experience is defined as: work experience within engineering operations planning for water or power resources.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s):Employees in this position may be required to obtain and maintain the following certifications, licensing and registrations:
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) (required at the time of application)
