Offer Description
The main aim of the ARMEX project is to systematically explore the presence of atmospheric rivers (AR) in the Mediterranean basin in terms of frequency of occurrence, in-tensity and characteristics and to understand their possible connection with extreme hydrome-teorological events that frequently affect different areas of ‘Italy.
The candidate will have to work with numerical models in order to better understand the role that ARs play in extreme hydrometeorological events and in the modulation of water balance
