Offer Description
As part of the PNRR – EXTENDED PARTNERSHIP – MULTI-RISK SCIENCE FOR RESILIENT COMMUNITIES UNDER A CHANGING CLIMATE (RETURN) – SPOKE VS1 – CUP D43C22003030002 project, a research grant entitled “Analysis of water scarcity and quantification of spatially distributed irrigation demand in contexts of global environmental change” is activated.
The candidate will analyze unconventional irrigation techniques and mitigation strategies for water scarcity in global change contexts. A physically based modeling of the main hydrological flows will help identify areas of greater criticality. Irrigation demand will be estimated in order to test possible strategies to mitigate the identified scarcity situations.
