Australia nationals: Project Officer (Murray Darling Basin Plan)
Job Description:
An exciting opportunity to work on a major project linked to the Murray Darling Basin Plan, providing environmental and water outcomes for South Australia. The Project Officer, Major Water Assets, is responsible for providing project expertise for complex construction and environmental projects, supporting the finalisation of environmental infrastructure in the South Australian Riverland region. The Project Officer contributes to the delivery of specialist advice, project development, procurement, implementation and stakeholder negotiation for the Major Water Asset program, focussed primarily on projects at the Pike and Katarapko floodplains
Contract up to 30 June 2021
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
- Some out of hours work may be requried.
- Some intra/interstate travel involvng overnight absences may be required.
- A current driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential.
Requirements:
A degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, environmental management or equivalent is essential.
Salary:
PO3 $95,429 min - $100,887 max p.a.
