Salary: £32,587 – £42,047 pa (plus benefits)
Hours: Full time (40hrs P/W) – Part-time hours, job shares and secondments from local rivers trusts and other partner organisations all considered on merit basis.
Location: Flexible – principally home based.

We are looking to recruit a dedicated Water Stewardship Manager to drive forward an ambitious new programme of work focused on developing and aligning the environmental interests of private sector businesses with the delivery ambition of catchment partnerships implementing Defra’s Catchment Based Approach (CaBA).
Working alongside a range of partners, including WWF-UK, the successful candidate will be required to develop and maintain relationships with a range of corporate businesses, liaise directly with governmental bodies and third sector organisations operating at both national and local scales.
A specific focus in the role is to develop a mechanism for up-scaling some of the exemplar water stewardship work already underway across catchment partnerships
The role is suited to someone with strong communication skills, a personable nature and a sound grasp of both business related water dependencies and catchment management.
The role is supported with funding from WWF-UK and the Water Co-Governance EU Interreg VB project funded under the European Regional Development Fund.
