Job Description

Principal Duties:

  • Demonstrate effective communication skills in person, via phone, and through email correspondence.
  • Ensure adherence to the Open Public Meetings Act and GRAMA regulations.
  • Coordinate watershed council activities in collaboration with division staff.
  • Develop, review, analyze, and refine various documents, reports, and web content.

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent work experience in one of the following fields: Communication with an emphasis on facilitation or conflict resolution, Water Resources, Watershed Science, Environmental Science
  • Proficient in active listening and adept in facilitating productive discussions.
  • Possesses strong organizational acumen.
  • Capable of tracking multiple ongoing projects and adept at scheduling.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Exhibits adaptability and resilience in navigating evolving project requirements and priorities.
