Waterkeeper Alliance, an international environmental advocacy organization, seeks a dynamic, goal-oriented Communications & Marketing Coordinator to strengthen and amplify the voice of our international Waterkeepers through capacity-building, advocacy, communications, and fundraising. The primary responsibilities of the Communications & Marketing Coordinator are to support the communications, development, support, and advocacy teams in promoting Waterkeeper Alliance’s work and mission to various stakeholders, internally and externally. This is a writing-intensive position that requires a robust understanding of publishing for both print and digital. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
The successful candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills with superior attention to detail and accuracy. Candidates should have experience with social media, CMS and Adobe Suite applications. The ideal candidate will be environmentally aware, energetic, well-organized, independent, hard-working, good-humored, dedicated and reliable.
