Lead teams conducting fieldwork for collecting soils and/or sediments, and water samples from a variety of natural and experimental habitats including agricultural fields, wetlands, ditches, streams, lakes, stream mesocosms, and experimental ponds.
Conduct laboratory processing of soil, sediment, and water samples using a variety of wet chemistry techniques and sophisticated instrumentation.
Organize and tabulate multiple data streams from different projects and perform QA/QC to ensure data is sound. Perform summary statistics and work with collaborators and supervisors to complete advance statistics and prepare sections of manuscripts for publication.
Supervise student workers during field and laboratory activities.
Education: Master's Degree in environmental science, earth science, biology, or related science field.
Experience: Two (2) years of job related experience.
