Regional Officers are a critical link between communities and the implementation of the Basin Plan. In a commitment to regionalisation, the Regional Coordination Officer will work closely with the Murray-Darling Basin Authority, Commonwealth Environmental Water Office and Department of Agriculture Water and Environment.

The successful Regional Coordination Officer will have:

  • passion for the local community and a knowledge of local networks;
  • excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills;
  • a strong understanding or a genuine interest in natural resource management; and
  • a willingness to learn about and be supported by the Australian Government.

This role is offered on a part-time, two days per week basis.
