Position Details

The Senior Policy Officer will work collaboratively with Sector Governance team members on a range of governance projects to support Victoria's water corporations, catchment management authorities and the Victorian Environmental Water Holder. 

Our objective is to deliver best-practice in the governance of the water sector, and to embed integrity, diversity and a community focus in everything we do.

 Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in public policy, law, governance or environment related fields is desirable.
  • Proven ability to work across government and organisations to influence policies and programs.
  • A working knowledge of the Victorian public sector governance framework is desirable. • Demonstrated success in writing high-quality documents on policy or governance concepts. • Experience in MS Office, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel is essential.

This is a fixed term position available up until December 2021.
