The Crops & Irrigation Branch of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture has an opportunity for an Irrigation Technologist to provide environmental sustainability technical support to the province’s irrigation programs. You will assist with the soil and water compatibility services for irrigation.


The successful candidate will have knowledge of soil and water resources, GPS surveying, air-photo interpretation, using GIS computer applications such as ArcMap, irrigation methods and equipment. You will also have the ability to collect and manipulate data utilizing engineering software programs.  


To qualify for this position, you will have a diploma in Environmental, Agricultural, or Water Resources Technology or equivalent training from a recognized technical institution supplemented by related experience.
