Linfield's Online and Continuing Education Department is seeking an adjunct faculty member for Summer Term that starts on June 19, 2017 to teach Environmental Governance (ENVS 202). The 4 credits course is an i ntroduction to historical and legal frameworks for addressing environmental issues as well as the common and emerging policy approaches by which communities, businesses, and governments make decisions relating to the environment. Investigation of the multidimensional nature of environmental problems and formulation of policy solutions considering the scientific, social and political context. A review of applications will begin immediately. The position will close on January 31,2017.

Qualifications:

  • JD or Masters' in Environmental Law, Environmental Policy, Natural Resource Management or closely related field
  • Ph.D. preferred
  • Experience teaching in higher education
  • Online teaching experience preferred
