The Watershed Science & Modelling Lab of the Earth and Atmospheric Department at the University of Albertais looking for an innovative and highly motivated candidate to develop models and conduct research onadaptation to changing water in western Canada under uncertain future climate change. The successful candidatewill utilize established physical-based models for hydrology and water demand of agriculture, environment andother water-use sectors in Alberta to study dynamic interactions of anthropogenic and natural systems and toexamine ‘integrated watershed management’ and adaptation options under uncertainty and facing climate changeimpact with an interdisciplinary approach at river basin scale. The end goal is to provide scientifically credibleknowledge for formulating adaptation measures and informed decision making in an uncertain future in westernCanada.
