We are looking to appoint talented people to join our Water Resources team to continue our focus on building relationships and delighting our clients (90% of our business is repeat business). Over the coming months, we will have upcoming specialist positions for you to consider. We are specifically looking to speak to water resources professionals who have the following experience:
Options appraisal
SEA / Environmental costs and benefits
Leakage / water balance reporting
Leakage management
Smart networks
Demand forecasting
Water Resources Planning (WRMPs and Drought Plans)
Supply modelling (familiar with Aquator or similar)
Decision-making methods and tools (multi-criteria analysis, real options analysis, PyWr)
Leadership and delivery of water resources technical projects
Qualifications
Our Water Resources planning team works with water companies across Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We support our clients on assessments of supply and demand for water, development of statutory Water Resources Management Plans and many other aspects related to the management of water resources.
As part of the Jacobs UK Water Resources team you will undertake work to support our clients water resources planning and reporting activities. You will be providing clients with strategic guidance on their approaches to water resources planning across both supply and demand components. You may be helping them develop more advanced methods for strategic decision-making. You will be able to apply your strategic thinking to the problems of water companies, regional water resources groups and the Regulators for the sector. You will work with other members of the team and within other departments of Jacobs.
