What if...

... we showed you how we're solving the world’s greatest challenges by transforming intangible ideas into intelligent solutions for a more connected, sustainable world?

We're turning the tide for good

A modern storage system for California’s scarcest and most valuable resource. A sewage management system in Hong Kong that converts sludge into electricity. Protection for our world’s coasts against rising oceans. When it comes to innovative, sustainable and comprehensive solutions, the future of water depends on us.

Whether it’s treating, distributing or storing water, Jacobs reaches across boundaries and collaborates to successfully deliver customised innovative solutions. We’re seeking an Undergraduate Water Resource Engineer/Hydrologist to join our Melbourne Surface Water team this summer. You'll be exposed to an exciting variety of work including flood modelling on large city-shaping infrastructure projects, water resource and catchment modelling for water authorities and dam break consequence assessments.

Ideally, you're in your penultimate year at university studying Civil or Environmental Engineering and possess an interest in Water Resources Modelling, Flood Modelling, Water Quality Modelling or Modelling of Catchment Processes. This is a unique role that requires applicants hold Australian / New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency. Bring your curiosity, collaborative spirit and strong communication skills, and we’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfil what drives you – so we can make big impacts on the world, together.
