Role: SeniorManager (Environment Sustainability Impacts)

Employment type: Contract (one year and extendable)

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in energy/environmental engineering or sciences from a government recognized educational institution
  • 5-7 years of experience in implementing and managing projects related to climate change and sustainability
  • Wide knowledge of climate change, global development finance mechanisms, environmental markets and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Fluency in the English language for both verbal and written communication
  • Possessing good organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Competency in the use of MS Tools viz. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Candidates with both technical and social sciences qualifications can also apply; a mix of technical and policy background will be preferred

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing the and quantification of sustainability impacts of the domain’s and organizations various initiatives
  • Conducting policy research for identification of gaps, engaging in communication and outreach programs and providing policy recommendations to various central and state-level governments
  • Tracking policy movement in relevant domains and identifying potential business opportunities across the globe
  • Preparing and submitting grant and project proposals, monitoring business development opportunities, announcements, and donor trends, and maintaining accurate information in the pipeline database
  • Building a network of professional business contacts – clients, funding agencies, government departments and individual experts to identify potential partnerships
  • Facilitating project management activities including project planning, monitoring, reporting, writing, research and documentation; responsible for overall quality of project delivery

Work Location: Development Alternatives HQ, New Delhi

Remuneration: As per organization’s salary disbursement structure and commensurate with qualifications and experience of the candidate

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
