Summary of Job Responsibilities:
Working across International Operations covering the 41 International facilities, the Head of Environment – International is the technical expert for the assessment of technologies and development of management systems for all Environmental Compliance and Sustainability in Manufacturing i.e.
- Water Risk and optimisation
- Wastewater compliance and improvement
- Carbon management schemes
- By-Products and Waste minimization
- Sustainability technologies and practices
Defining and managing adequate investment across the Environmental and Sustainability profiles to ensure legal compliance and improved performance (Sustainability Indexes) and increased revenue (By-Products).
Driving the organisations Sustainability Culture and Leadership at all levels of the organisation.
Key Activities
Develop Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) EHS Pillar as best practice for Environment & Sustainability Management across International Zone Lead the International By-Products team Support the development of the Environmental strategy to ensure legal compliance and best practice development Identify key investment requirements to ensure legal compliance and Sustainability improvements across International zone Manage prioritization of International Environment Capex master plans and Zone Annual Operating Plans (AOP’s)

- Education
- Masters Degree qualified in Environmental or Sustainability Discipline
- Work Experience
- Senior Leadership role defining strategy
- Over 5 years of experience in an international environment, preferable within Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Automotive or FMCG industry
- Management / responsibility for multiple numbers of manufacturing sites spanning multiple countries
- Experience of multi-national environments and cultures
- Worked within a matrix organization
- Knowledge
- Risk management systems
- Technical Environmental knowledge e.g. Water purification, Wastewater technologies, Waste management and Recycling techniques, Carbon management and accounting, Sustainability reporting
