Reports to: Chief Executive, member of the Senior Management Team
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and dynamic individual to lead the management and development of commercial opportunities for The Rivers Trust and River Ecosystem Services Ltd., its trading arm (RES).
We believe there are significant commercial opportunities to secure contracts for delivery of paid ecosystem services that could generate revenues for The Rivers Trust and its 60 member Rivers Trusts, while achieving our objective of restoring UK and Irish rivers to good condition.
You will lead a team of 4 – 6 hub co-ordinators operating at a regional level to support individual and groups of our member Rivers Trusts securing, managing and supervising delivery of projects and contracts.
You should ideally have excellent project and people management skills, commercial contract delivery and sales experience. You will also have a strong commitment to restoration of the water environment and a good understanding of environmental issues, environmental NGOs, government agencies and consultancies.
