Based in Rockhampton and covering a land area 2.4 times the size of Tasmania, the Fitzroy Region includes the largest river system draining Australia’s east coast, the Fitzroy Basin (the largest water catchment draining into the Great Barrier Reef).
Our role is to support land managers and community to protect our landscapes, waterways, beaches, oceans, air quality and native species for future generations by implementing sustainable practices.
We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer with inspirational Leadership, well developed Strategic skills, and a demonstrated ability to develop relationships based on mutual respect to take the FBA and its staff to our next level of potential.
